New Hub 2 with DV

Go to solution

After my issues with slow speeds and some sites not connecting I rang BT.  The lady there tried to connect to my Hub2 but couldn't so she will be sending me a new one today - excellent service! (What might be the problem there?).  I'll need to pair my two BT digital phones with the new hub - does the downloadable file stored on my current hub do everything?  I suspect that it just stores the phone numbers though, so how will I go about telling the phones to forget the old hub and connect them to the new one?

Just de- register the handsets from the old hub and re-register with the new.

Hi @Frogmodem,

Thank you for posting. What @licquorice has said is correct, all you'll need to do is de-register the handset and register it again on the new Hub.

If you take a look at - Digital Voice: How to set up the service, you'll find the user guide that will give you the steps you need to follow to do the de-register.

Thanks,

Paddy

@Frogmodem

Before you do anything export your contacts so you can import them into the new hub. That's Home - Phone - Contacts
