I received a text from Openreach yesterday saying they need to do some external work for my installation, at the bottom it says 'if we don't hear from you the work will go ahead as planned'. But this morning I had a message saying I had to confirm to reduce the chances of an issue occurring, no option of if they don't hear from me the work will go as planned?

The number was 07908 670811, is this a legitimate Openreach number and safe to reply to?

Hi @ZacHW94, welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. I'm surprised that the number would be a mobile and not a geographic number for Openreach.

Have you placed an order for broadband with us, most likely full fibre, recently and are waiting to be connected?
If so call in and our orders team will be happy to check what is happening with your order.

Hi @JohnC2, yes I have ordered full fibre, I spoke to someone at BT and she let me know it was a legitimate message from Openreach.
