Sigh, the SH3 works on FTTC or FTTP.

The SH3 supports DV with a phone socket

The SH2 works on FTTC or FTTP

@Daedalus2000

Just to reiterate what other members have already correctly confirmed- the SH3 has a green DV phone socket.

Our BT Smart Hub 3 article provides all the information and help needed for the BT Smart Hub 3, including physical descriptions and images of the device and its ports, support for Wi-Fi settings and the Hub Manager feature, and compliance information.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

Just to clarify the clarification..:-)

I am quite happy with the details provided about the SH3, including in particular that it has the ports and capability to support FTTC connection and DV.

My problem at the moment is that BT themselves claim that it will do neither on my existing FTTC line when changed to DV - but have yet to explain why.

The simple answer is that who ever told you that was wrong or you misunderstood what you were told.

There is nothing further to add and this thread should now be locked.
