Return of equipment

Hi there

 

I'm due to switch over from BT to another provider (got a very Good deal on 500mbs package )

 

The switch will take place on 3rd Dec. I take it I'll need to return the bt smart hub 2. Will I automatically receive a returns packaging from BT or do I need to request it.

Also are they bothered about the Ethernet cable and I also have a home phone which was disconnected some time back. Do I return these?

When you leave, you should see an order in MyBT to close your account. This should detail what you need to return together with any charges for failing to do so.

You should then automatically receive a  returns bag in the post. At least that's the theory.

Entirely up to you whether or not you also return the phone. I don't believe there's any requirement to do so but it's no good to you, unless you plan on returning to BT next time round.
