Return of equipment

Go to solution

I recently sent back equipment to which I am now being charged £140 for as I have mislaid my proof of posting. After reading on community this has happened to a lot of people. I have been told there is nothing they can do and it has now been sent to a debt collector.

I am a pensioner and am so disappointed with BT. They must have plenty of returned equipment that has been unaccounted for, that they are still willing to charge people for even though equipment has been returned.

They send out a bag that does not contain any of your details, they do not ask  you to put in any information linking you to the equipment, therefore you cannot prove this equipment has been sent back. If you misplace your receipt you ultimately pay the price.

I am so disappointed with BT, when my contract ends, I will never use them again
