Hi
Having relentless amounts of internet dropout's over the past few months on my BT Hub 6A, hub just goes offline 3-5 times a day, very irritating when working from home and your VPN drops out.
BT helpline particularly unhelpful saying too many devices connected. We have around 50, which in a modern connected home I don't think is excessive. All devices are effectively hard wired as I'm using a small enterprise nest system rather than the built in wifi.
I have borrowed a Draytek Vigor 2820Vn from work to try in place of the BT Hub, but have struggled to get it to connect. Any help with settings and usernames would be useful.
Thanks in advance
Router reports a connection type of Fibre Broadband (VDSL) which is FTC; will this model not work on this package?
Any suggestions for a quality router that would?
Thanks

That model will not work on VDSL. Why I asked, was because you posted on the ADSL board. I have moved it to the correct board.
Provided you do not have a G.Fast (Typically 100mb) connection, then there are plenty of third party VDSL modem/routers available. Here is one popular model https://www.tp-link.com/uk/service-provider/dsl-router/archer-vr400/

Okay, wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the advice.
Keith forgot VLAN ID 101.
