Those are 99% certain to be scam calls.  What they’ve said is nonsense.  Do not respond to anything they want you to do.  It will be a con.

As far as the TV connection goes, it’s most likely to be interference from something.  The first thing to try is to go into the hub management page on 192.168.1.254 and change the wireless channel to a different channel.  It’s probably the 2.4GHz channels but only you would know if it were 2.4 or 5GHz.  Either way, a change of channel may help.

I'd definitely recommend trying the channel change @WSH mentioned here.

If you're noticing issues on other devices as well, I would recommend giving our troubleshooter a try, which will run through some steps to help fix your connection, and if needs be help you get an engineer appointment or call back from our team.
