Slow internet with router stats

Hi BT,

My internet speed sucks, started yesterday over the rush hour period (6-11pm which never happened with TTalk) and hasn't changed, I followed BT's router check, but still the same.

You appear to be on a 40/10 profile rather than 80/20.

Call customer services and get them to investigate.

40/10 is actually what I signed up for (https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-telecoms-and-internet/advice-for-consumers/costs-and-billing/social-...)

It appears to be up to speed now, but still don't understand why it was so slow the stats haven't changed.
