You can get a microfilter locally from Argos (£8.49), or delivered by Amazon (£4.99). There are other local places that sell them.
If your master phone socket has a filtered faceplate fitted, then you do not need a microfilter.
@Trish0502 oh no! Do you still need a microfilter for it? I don't need a filter for mine!
It says in the book if you have one socket you need a filter, the engineer told me I would need a filter. I do need one as the plug doesn’t fit in the socket
@Trish0502 are they going to send one out to you? Or do you think you'll buy one?
They’re sending one out which will probably take a week with the Mail strikes.
Haven’t decided whether to buy one or wait.
It'd be helpful if they'd send it with a different delivery company during strikes but they don't seem to 😕
The joke is I wish they’d use Evri as they’re now delivering quicker than RM!
There’s a delay despatching it so it’s started well 😂
@Trish0502 Lol! Things don't seem to be going smoothly for either of us with this!
Lol no it’s a nightmare. I’m phoning BT telling them they can’t bill me for broadband they know I cannot use due to their error!
my filter is delayed due to a problem so hasn’t even left the warehouse. I am going to have to buy a filter. Can anyone send me an Amazon link please for the right one as there’s loads on Amazon.
Hope everyone stays warm and safe
