BT Broadband is out for service for last 2 days in Swindon Homeleaze housing estate. Customers are following up with BT and everytime they give us some random time when the issue will be fixed. No transparency on what is actually going on, very poor customer management or engagement.
This morning we got message from BT which said service issue is fix, which is not. So it is guaranteed there is some bot in place who timely send some random messages to customer so that get some false hope. Is the what BT customers are expecting after paying for costly broadband?
There is no official communication sent to us(BT broadband customer) regarding national strike from openreach, is BT wanted to let their customer guessing after watching news through their mobile data?
We are working from home and it is causing huge inconvenience and cost us money as well. Regarding compensation we have been told it is just £8.40 be given. People have paid £50 to top up their mobile data plan and BT is compensating their customer with £8.40 that too after careful consideration.
Cant wait to get my plan term finish to move out of BT. Another down entry to go to trustpilot.
Same here in badbury park, there is no broadband, no one to talk to, no explanation and un-reliable ETCs. I pay £60 a month for internet alone and I can’t even get a explanation, just a Bot giving multiple ETCs a day
Why do people expect business level service for domestic broadband prices.
This has been almost 4 days now without internet and to top that up absolutely no credible comms either.
Those BOT led comms are of no use. BOT in fact has sent a message informing that service is now running advising to reboot router to refresh network when in reality service was still broken 😡 .
NOT ACCEPTABLE BT.
If the fault with your broadband is in the DSLAM your service is fed from moving to a full fibre service is the only solution as other broadband suppliers still use that DSLAM.
I’m on full fibre, yeah also had messages saying the fault is fixed when it isn’t, tried resetting multiple times again and now been told 4 hours. I don’t hold any hope in this as I have been given so many estimated times of completion that I have lost count. Poor poor service, it also says I can track progress on the service checker but it requires a landline number which I don’t have. Useless.
BT can only pass on the info they get from openreach, as bad service as it is it's not totally BT's fault
Has anyone been re-connected yet? I finally managed to get a call from bt after they said everything is fixed, and he said the major service outage is repaired and all working in Swindon however I still can’t connect to the internet, they’re sending a technician out Tuesday. Just wondering if anyone else’s has started working?
