Switch to EE

I've been getting marketing bumpf for BT urging me to switch broadband to EE. Im currently on full fibre 900mb. When I click the links for deals to switch to EE and enter my address it offers a maximum speed service of 62mb (part fibre). Webchat peeps at EE say that I cant transfer anyway as my landline is not showing as transferable and that I would have to wait until my BT contract has expired so that they can set up a new account. Anyone else had this?

Re: Switch to EE

My advice would be to ignore all this and stay with BT. There have been far too many tales of woe on this forum about BT completely messing up the migration to EE, with people ending up paying more for a worse service or being cut off from broadband for lengthy periods. Calling "the team" can also end up with you being seriously misled, as converting customers to EE maximises agents' commissions.
