Hello, I have a PS5 and my son has an Xbox in his room, and we have 2 different powerline adapters. I have TL-PA7017PKIT 1000MBPS with the plug socket on it, and he has the same thing but the smaller one without the plug. We have the BT Smart Hub 2, and Of course one of my adapters in plugged in next to the router and the other next to my PS5 and my powerline adapter works fine. However, when my son plugs in his two powerline adapters, one next to the router and one in his room next to his xbox, as soon as his ethernet cable from the adapter next to the router gets plugged into port 2 on the Smart Hub, the wifi on all devices disconnects, and as soon as we unplug it, it instantly comes back on. I called BT and had another router come and it’s still doing it. Would we both need two different brands of powerline adapters? Or is it impossible for us both to be using powerline adapters. By the way, sharing one adapter is not possible because we are both too far away from each other.
