Re: Unable to order FTTP when Neighbors can

Go to solution

Hi @thewhalw21, welcome to the forum and thanks for your posts.

I'm sorry that you were referred to Openreach to chase as this should never be the case. The FTTP team should've been able to update you on what's happening when you called or if needed chase them on your behalf.

I've sent you a Private Message so you can get in touch with the Mod team. We don't deal with FTTP orders but we'll be happy to see what we can find out for you.

Cheers

John

For those that come across this in the future, i had to use the tried and tested method of emailing the CEO and was placed intouch with the complaints dept. I was lucky enough to have 2 issues at my property, Database needed updating and limited capacity from the fibre distribution point.

Hey Ethan,

First i'd suggest filling out this form if you haven't already.

https://www.openreach.com/forms/fibre-broadband-availability---customer-form

They do take a few days to respond.

Hope that helps

Hi @thewhalw21 ,

Sorry for the late reply. Did you get the FTTP connected?

Cheers

David

Yup, Once i got in touch with the complaints team they sped things up. An engineer came out to "blow" a fibre cable down the street. Once that was done, 2 weeks later i was online.

Thanks for all the advice 🙂
