i'll try ethernet connection (my comment about not being tech savvy was about changing wifi channels!)
does the WiFi disconnection affect all devices at the same time? - sometimes things closer to the hub still get wifi, but others don't
if you go to hub manager 192.168.1.254 into browser address bar then enter admin password then got to advanced settings/wifi and you should be able to change 2.4/5ghz channels there and remember to save when you exit
