broadband down, and broadband line checker *also* down??

not only is my broadband down, the checker site is also not working - is it just me??

What colour lights are showing on your router. 

You can check for faults using the BT Service status.

That's exactly the point, Ritu - I couldnt use the service status checker because it was down! 

In my opinion it is completely unacceptable for a multi-billion pound company to not have any functioning way to check when service is going to be restored. 

Eventually I got through to someone on the chat function (which only operates at certain UK times, despite being based in India) and they told me when to expect it to be working again, it was actually working about an hour after that.
