I'm in Greece just now and my BT Mobile network won't connect. Have checked Roaming is set to On on my device, restarted the phone as well.
I had the same problem a few months ago when I was in Switzerland.
I can get data through WiFi but unable to receive normal calls and SMS due to no mobile network for my phone number.
Any help appreciated.

Re: BT mobile Network not connected in Rome like home country
You need to enable roaming on your account via MyBT and set a minimum extra spend, £10 normally covers it.

Re: BT mobile Network not connected in Rome like home country
Thanks. Tried to check mybt settings at www.bt.com/mymobile as this is the link shared on most help and support pages. But that takes me to a 500 error page.
Any particular place in MyBt app where I can enable roaming a I can't find the setting ?

should login to MYBT then select my products then mobile and you should be able to check/make changes there
