Can I end my Mobile Contract anytime ?

Go to solution

My BT Broadband contract ends in August, but when I go to the page for Managing my Mobile, it always says "Currently Not Available"  Under contract ends. Does this mean my contract ends at the same time as my broadband, or I can move anytime ?  It's not as though it allows me to change plan, the "Change Plan" buttons always tells me there are no deals available.

Your Mobile Phone contract may end at a different time to your broadband so you will need to call BT 0330.1234.150 and ask when it ends.

Once you have done that and if you are out of contract you will be able to move to a new provider without and early cancellation fees.

If you are still in contract you will most likely need to pay "early termination" fees. Check with the provider that you want to move to as they may cover the fee.

Have a read through the following link which will inform you how to move to a new provider.

Thanks. I did just that, and it turns out I am out of contract - I guess that is what is meant by "Currently Not Available". Anyway, they weren't able to offer what I want with EE, so time to move !
