My mobile package includes 500MB of data per month. This is normally ample for me. However, on Sunday 13 Aug we were having a get-together outdoors and I was playing some YouTube music via my phone (no Wifi, so using data).
I had no idea how much data was being used... So, I've been checking regularly to see... The app did not update. I could tell this because the message “Your allowance resets on */*/* (* days)” was always out-of-date.
Finally, today, Friday 18 Aug (5 days later), my usage has been updated – luckily, I haven't gone over.
So, my question (obviously) is: why does it take so long for the app to tell me how much data I've used?!
