Hi all.
I live in a border area where the strongest mobile signal received is from transmitters in the Republic of Ireland. There is just about a 3g signal in the area but no 4g signal. Will an EE minihub pick up the strongest signal available and if so will there be extra charges incurred for picking up a roaming network? I am aware that the EE minihub is only used as back up if the main hub is out of action.
Thank you in advance for any replies.

Hi @MickTheShamrock welcome to the community and thanks for posting, good question. The EE Mini hub will only work within the UK on the EE network so it won't use roaming to connect to a mast in the Republic of Ireland. If there is no EE 4G signal in your area it will try to connect to the 3G instead and the connection speed and quality will be dependent on the signal strength.
Thanks
Neil
