Emergency

Go to solution

Hello, I understood that if the battery died, like mine did, as I'm an idiot and forgot to charge it up. That the phone would automatically leave enough power in itself so that I could send an emergency message to 999 or Ambulance. Today, I was in that position and although it briefly turned on, within one second it turned off. I have a BT Google phone.

I have never heard of that being an option. All batteries will at some point run down if not charged so I don't know how it would be possible to keep a reserve for emergency calls.

I think you may have confused running out of battery with running out of credit.

Might be worth investing in a portable power bank if this is likely to happen again.
