Family SIM Switch problem

Hello all,

My wife and I recently re-contracted from EE and Three to BT Mobile via a pair of Family SIIMs. We both have iPhones.

We were both assigned temporary numbers by BT and ported our original numbers across from EE & Three.

On the day of the switch all seemed to go well, but a few days later I noticed that iMessages/SMS were not synchronising onto my other Apple devices. My wife's phone is synchronising without problem.

Upon closer inspection it seems that the SIM in my phone is still showing the temporary number assigned by BT. My wife's phone is correctly showing her ported number.

How can I get my SIM updated to show my ported number rather than the temporary number assigned by BT Mobile?

Go to settings > phone > my number and update manually. May need to disable iMessage and FaceTime beforehand and then re-enable once updated.
