Moving a Family mobile plan to another provider

Go to solution

Hi. I am leaving BT broadband and now want to move my BT family sims onto another provider also. I have a PAC code for my sim but do I need a separate PAC code for the other sims/numbers on the family plan? Thanks, Nick

Even if you move from a BT family SIM plan to EE you need a PAC code for each number you are transferring so it would seem logical that the answer to your question is that you will need a code for each one

Hi @nhsix, the advice given by @Les-Gibson is correct. The PAC is to allow your number to be moved so you'll need a PAC for each phone number.

Cheers

I have asked BT for separate codes and they say the same one will work for both numbers

This has came up on here at least twice before if I remember. Fact is you can have 1 pac for multiple numbers but some of the smaller networks & their systems can't handle that standard process so insist of 1 pac for 1 number
