Phone stopped working on arrival in Italy

I arrived in Italy 3 days ago and have had “No Service” on my phone ever since.  Multiple calls to BT Mobile Tech Service have failed to yield a solution.  The only development has been that my phone number has been removed from the account (so unless anything changes it won’t even work when I get home !). BT give the distinct impression of not having a clue what has gone wrong.  Any similar experiences out there ? (My wife’s phone which is on the same account is working just fine)

Re: Phone stopped working on arrival in Italy

Have you set access to international calling and also set spend limit greater than £0 say £5 - check in MYBT

Is your phones network selection setting on Auto? Should be or else it will only ever connect to BT Mobile in the UK.

Do you and your wife have the same phone ?

Android or Apple ?

Have you tried your SIM card in your wife's phone?
