What I find odd not to mention that some may find it a bit racist, is that you come onto this forum ranting about an "American" voice on an automated machine on a number that you called having no idea who it is you are calling and yet you are adamant that it is BT.
You then go onto say "I've heard that voice many many times over the years and it definitely emanates from BT". without you being able to say which departments you have called "over the years" when you heard the voice.
Have you considered that it could be just a computer generated generic voice that is used by any number of companies.
Have you considered that it could be a scammer that called you hoping that you call them back on their premium rate number.
Have you considered that there is more to life than moaning about a voice on a number that you have no idea who it is you are calling!
