BT access to Private Road

lown part of a private road and pavement.BT want to dig up my section of pavement so they can provide full fibre broadband to my neighbours - questions

  1. Do BT have to write to me to request permission ?
  2. Do BT have to make good any repairs to the pavement?
  3. Am I due any recompense from BT as they will profit from me allowing them access?
  4. Can I refuse access?

Re: BT access to Private Road

BT will not be digging up your road, Openreach might though. You need to ask them, it has nothing to do with BT retail which this forum concerns.

Re: BT access to Private Road

Replacing BT with Openreach
1. You already seem to be advised .
2.Yes
3.No
4.Yes , chances are if you do , they simply omit that area from whatever was proposed, assuming this is an upgrade and not a repair of existing lineplant .
