BT is Blocking my website

Hi,

BT is blocking my website, and I have no idea why. Google shows this website as safe. My website is my business. Please help me unblock this.

I emailed Saferbrowsing@BT.com on May 27th, and haven't yet had anything back.

Can somebody please help!

If there is a legitimate reason my website is being blocked. Can you please let me know what it is, so I can work to rectify this, rather than just straight up blocking the site? It's madness you're even allowed to do that.

Presumably at https://jjshomefurniture.com/ ? OK here.

Have you tried another browser?

Re: BT is Blocking my website

I can access it okay on Edge but with Chrome I can only access it through an incognito tab.

Sorry about that. But yes, that’s correct.

Re: BT is Blocking my website

No issues accessing it with Edge, Chrome or Firefox.

It may be that BT Webprotect is blocking it however if that was the case the users of BT Webprotect would be notified that it is blocked along with reason and if they want they can over ride the block and access the site.

@JJsHomeFurniture

The website was categorised as malicious by several webfilters database providers. It likely BT Consumer uses multiple sources so best to resolve and issue and get the website checked again across the different webfilter and scanning providers.

Re: BT is Blocking my website

You need to keep emailing as much detail as possible to the address you have until you eventually get a reply or the problem is resolved.

The following is from the BT Webprotect Help page:-

BT Web Protect checks each website that is accessed on your home connection or on BT Wi-fi when connecting using your BT ID. It works by referring to a list of websites which have been categorised as potentially harmful to your device or personal data.

If you think a site should be added or removed from the list of those categorised as potentially harmful, you can contact us at saferbrowsing@bt.com providing the details of the site you believe is being incorrectly categorised and we'll send this to our third-party supplier for further investigation.

Re: BT is Blocking my website

Thank you I appreciate that. However I’ve emailed them a few times now over the course of two weeks. I know that doesn’t sound like too much time but it’s severely hurting my business.

do BT read these, is there a way to get their attention faster?
