BT online telephone directories are faulty, as far as residential numbers are concerned.
The directories only show the phone numbers of people whose first name begins with the same letter as their surname.
You can't look for John Andrews, for instance, as it only shows people named Andrews whose first name also begins with A.
It's impossible to look for Mary Brown, as the directory only shows Browns with first names also beginnning with B.
You can't look for Donald Campbell's number, as the directory only shows Campbells whose first name starts with C.
And so on, for all surnames.
