Contact Email Address for BT

Is there an email address that I can use to contact BT rather tha using a phone call.

I have a question to ask that contains a rather long and detailed history which is not really suitable for a phone call.

I can't find anything on the net.

Contact is by phone or live chat, there's no generic email address for customer queries.
