EE mobile

Spoke with BT helpdesk today, regarding possible upgrade to EE service. Was offered the free mini boxes and coz Im still on bt mobile, with free roaming, i was also offered the option to change to EE mobile. Some months ago i was offered a similar EE mobile with free roaming which turned out to be a lie, twice, and i returned the sim cards. I was offered the same promise today but i refused and am continuing on my current contract until August.

Can anyone confirm or deny that i could switch to EE mobile and keep free roaming. All reserch and having spoken to EE, the last time seems to confirm that it cant be done.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Re: EE mobile

EE do not do free roaming so switching will lose free roaming and EE charges are high

Re: EE mobile

This interesting. Spoke to EE last night and they confirmed that in 'certain circumstances', mainly to assist with the migration from BT to EE they would offer free roaming but probably only for the duration of the new contract. Wouldnt it make sense if BT were to officially confirm this.

Re: EE mobile

whether EE allow roaming on switch from BT to EE is really nothing to do with BT and up to EE.  I would want something in writing confirming free roaming on switch from EE before moving
