Green box moving

There is a green box on the pavement in front of my house and I really want to do a drop curb to put a driveway in. Would it be possible to get it moved to the edge of my front garden rather than the middle?

@Stubbalot

You would have to ask Openreach about that, but its likely to cost you a lot of money.

https://www.openreach.com/building-developers-and-projects/altering-our-network

You would have to pay for the survey to get a costing.

This has nothing to do with BT Retail.

Re: Green box moving

Thanks, that is really helpful, I'll contact them. Any idea what kind of cost this might be?

Re: Green box moving

Probably into the thousands of pounds, as its likely to involve re-routing of cables and payments to customers during the process.

You need to identify whether it does actually belong to Openreach, and not to another provider.

Use the link they provide to identify it.

Re: Green box moving

It won’t be thousands, it’ll be tens of thousands.
