sorry but are you a BT Broadband and phone customer or with a different provider?
Bt. broadband and phone
If Openreach were changing a pole , or changing the location of the pole you are served from, it’s possible that your ‘service’ is now connected to the wrong house , ( as well as potentially just disconnected at the pole ) and if the occupant of that house ( that has your service ) hasn’t noticed, they may be unaware and using your connection, if that’s the case , any ‘test’ of your line , it could be testing OK , hence the fault reports getting cancelled.
What sort of phone service do you have , DV ( phone plugged into the router ) or still on PSTN ? , you could try ringing your own landline number ( from a mobile for example ) and see if it answered, obviously if it is you ask what address they are .
If it’s possible to log into your ‘My BT’ ( you maybe able to connect to BT / EE from another working BT broadband customers WiFi that is within range of your house , or connect to your mobile as a hotspot ) and test your line yourself , any fault detected should raise a ticket , or call BT again and stress that your line is out of order ( irrespective of any test results ) and you need an engineer visit
