My parents were persuaded to switch from Plusnet to Bt due to upgrades. The following day, they had no line. 4 weeks later Bt cannot resolve it with continued different excuses. My parents are in thier late 80's my father is profoundly deaf & cannot use a mobile. He feels totally isolated & no one will take ownership of the issue. Where do I go from here to try & help them ? They are truely desperate

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry there's been a delay getting your parents line connected. Is this for digital voice? Are they trying to retain the Plusnet number?

Hi they are hoping to retain thier number however at present they are being told that there is no longer a live line at all to thier property I forgot to add that they live in a mc carty stone property

So the plusnet line has been ceased and there are problems connected the BT/EE line? Is that correct? Is there an existing line to the property?
