Well, I didn't get anywhere, as I had thought. Oddly several of the Twitter team just can't find that price above mentioned at all. 

 I've usually been able to take advantage of offers in the past while under contract by simply renewing my contract for a further two years. Though that has been when BT have called me.

 Rather annoyingly, Fibre 500 is exactly the same price according to the price list at BT, but of course it isn't available in my area so I'm stuck paying the same price but for half the speed others can get.

Why didn’t you call the retention team as recommended by others?
