Another Redundant Account Query

 Just tidying up my account details.

I've had a dead account as part of my profile in "My BT" for years. At contract renewal, I always ask for it to be removed but it seems to resurrect itself like a modern day Dracula.

Please can someone from the support team reach out to me to get it removed?

Hi @Bauhaus, sorry you've an old account still showing on your BTID.

You can fix this by setting up another BTID with an email address that has not been used as a BTID before.

If you don't have another email address you can use I've sent you a Private Message so you can get in touch with the Mod team and we'll raise the request to get the current BTID fixed.

Hi @Bauhaus, the BTID has been deleted now. Please would you set it up again at www.bt.com/mybt and choose the option 'Don't have a BTID - Create One'

Once you've set it up only your new account will be linked to the BTID.

Post back and let me know how you get on.

Hi @Bauhaus, thanks for your message yesterday afternoon confirming that you've set the BTID up again and the old account is no longer showing.
