BT forgot to shut down my current account after they gave me a new one, help!
Hi there, I called BT around 4-5 days ago to get Full Fibre, as my account was bugged (BTs system is messed up I think.) they had to cancel my current account and give me a new one so I can get a full fibre package.
But the thing is, they've forgotten to shut my current account, I keep on getting emails about my Full Fibre package but I can't actually track the order or see my new account because my old account was never shut down.
I did call BT customer service and they did nothing unfortunately.

If the account was closed down your broadband would stop working though.
If I can gather what you mean you can add a 2nd account to a BT id to track it that way or if a different BT id setup a new my bt id as well
