BT request to send back Wifi Disc

Go to solution

I got a text message and an email from BT requesting I return their broadband hub and their Wifi Disc, if I don’t I will be charged £50 and £30 respectively but I have never had a Wifi Disc? How can I prove this? Will I have to pay £30?  I have returned the hub plus other older ones I had from BT in the past, which they have acknowledged but are still chasing the Wifi Disc. What should I do? It seems unfair to pay a fine for something I’ve never had.

Have you contacted BT Customer Services 0330.1234.150 and explained the situation to them.

Hi Daniel - I’ve been looking through my emails from BT when I switched to them in 2021 and found one where they sent a tracking link with serial numbers for both the hub and wifi disc, so although I cannot ever remember receiving it (and have certainly never used it) I must have received it.
