I recently left BT and urgently requested my historical bills to prove that I paid under my own name and address. I’ve been with BT for over 14 years and have never owed anything. Unfortunately, my request has been ignored, even after I explained how urgent this is. I’m extremely frustrated as the delay has already caused me to lose a significant amount of money.
Has anyone dealt with something similar or know how I can escalate this further?

BT only keep historic bills for 15 months which you can view in your MyBT.

Surely if you simply need to prove you paid the bills yourself, your bank can supply the necessary information.
Yes, but I need evidence that clearly shows my name and address on the bill. I’m already using bank statements, but I also need a utility bill to provide additional proof.
