Just curious, is it normal to receive an ee router when ordering BT fttp, I know they are partnered but I thought BT had their own router etc.

Re: Bought BT fttp, Recieved ee smart router in post and get messages from EE.
Did you place your order on the BT website, or were you directed to the EE page?
If you are getting messages from EE, then it looks like you are with EE and not BT.
EE are a separate company within the BT Group.

Alright thank you, ill just wait for installation date and ask engineer, only reason I'm asking is because I bought bt 300 and ee doesn't offer that speed.

It you have a BT ID, then you are with BT. I do not think there is much difference in the routers internally, but the firmware is different.
This is the BT ordering site https://www.bt.com/broadband/deals
