Bring forward activation date?

Hello

I’ve recently signed up for full fibre 900, we are moving into a new build property and have an activation date of the 11th April. Is there any options to bring this forward? My 4G is terrible in the new house.

I’ve been told we do not need an engineer visit it’s just a case to plugging in and sorted.

I log into my account but it’s only dates in the future I can switch to.

Many thanks

Rebecca

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

You would have been given the earliest date that an Openreach Field Technician can deal with it.

I assume you already have an Openreach optical modem fitted, and have received your BT Smart Hub 2?

What lights are showing on the modem?

Once you receive your Smart Hub 2, you can connect it to the modem and see if it works before the activation date.

Re: Bring forward activation date?

That`s a good sign, especially if the PON light is not flashing. Its quite possible it may work right away, once you get the Smart Hub 2.
