Broadband upgrade delay

I did an uprade to my broadband with BT on 19th of January, which was supposed to be activated on the following day. (from FIBRE 2 to FIBRE 100)

It is now 31st of May ...

All I have is this message in the tracking:

"We're sorry your broadband isn't working yet

We've got a specialist team working on it and we'll let you know as soon as we have more news. Thanks for your patience."

no update since, what is more my new contract was £55, now I am paying £75 as its not even active yet.

Now my question is... Is anyone even still trying to upgrade me? What are my options will I get some compensation? or should I just try to cancel already, I get it can be delayed, but overcharing me for own fault is quite a joke of the BT.

I saw in the forums you guys asked other people to check with "Broadband Availability Checker "

This is what it says:
"
WBC FTTP
Up to 1000Up to 220--AvailableKCI2 Assure
VDSL Multicast
Available

Our records show the following FTTP network service information for these premises:-Multi Dwelling Unit Residential UG Feed with no anticipated issues.

ONT exists with active service. No spare ports are available. Network is at capacity so a new ONT cannot be ordered.

For all ADSL and WBC Fibre to the Cabinet (VDSL or G.fast) services, the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.

In order to be eligible for handback, downstream speed should be less than Downstream Handback Threshold values.

If you decide to place an order for a WBC fibre product, an appointment may be required for an engineer to visit the end user's premises to supply the service

Mildenhall exchange:Only single order products are available and ADSL and ADSL2+ products are not shown as available. However for premises that can only be served by SOADSL, BT will continue to accept ADSL and ADSL2+ orders until SOADSL is available.
"

Any help would be appreciated.
