Does anyone know if I can just pay to cancel the halo 3 of my contract. I  starting to feel I have spent 3 years paying for this part of my contract, which I feel is not really needed

It will probably be the case that you would need to "cancel" your broadband with Halo package and start a new broadband package. Depending on how long your Halo package still has to run it could result in cancellation fees.

If you have completed the minimum term contract you could re contract to a new broadband package without the Halo add on. There would be no fee in doing that.
