I have had 2 BT accounts shut by BT due to address mistakes on their side, when I rang again to try and rectify the situation and stop them taking over my neighbours line I was told I needed to open another new account but it is an EE account. The problem I have is I'm not sure if EE have access to all the previous information regarding faults, addressing issues and complaints as I cannot add the EE account to my bt ID and vice versa. I have not had broadband since October 31st and see no resolution in sight especially if EE are going to repeat mistakes BT have already made.
I have spoken to so many BT staff but seem no nearer to getting broadband and now the account is officially EE it seems BT have washed their hands of me despite me not requesting an EE account.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Katie_B
I was told via chat function that an EE account cannot be added to a bt ID but I'm not sure if all the previous account information is accessible to EE?
Hi @Gshep3133.
That's right an EE account can't be linked to a BT account.
The BT account will need to move over to EE to be able to link to an existing EE account.
