I am moving in to the new home in October, how long does it take to activate the service? Can I make the order now but request to activate in October?

Thanks for posting. Can you just clarify, are you moving home in October? If so then you can place an order with the moving date on the link provided by @Keith_Beddoe .

Are you placing an order for new service where you currently live? Are you upgrading a current service?

You should be able to choose a date when you place your order. It may offer the earliest date, but I would expect to see a choice of dates. I am sure @DavidM can confirm this.

As @Keith_Beddoe has mentioned, you'll be offered the earliest available date but there are option for you to choose a different one that suits you.

I usually assist my elderly mother (84) when she has a new router installed, I now live abroad, so my question is how long between order date and activation date can there be?
I am planning a trip back in 6 weeks would this be too long to make the order? Can I move the activation date once ordered?
