When I try to use the customer support chat, it asks me for my BT phone number.
I don't have one. And it won't let me proceed without one.

Hi @mikelward if you enter your mobile contact number the chat will proceed, it doesn't have to be a BT landline or mobile.

When I enter my mobile number, it says "Sorry, I could not find anything for that".
@mikelward Are you choosing account and billing then BT Sport options? I've just tested this and was able to enter non BT mobile numbers without a problem. Start the chat using this link

Weird that you're seeing something else.
@mikelward Yeah that's strange, I'm using the Edge browser on a PC. Did you clear the chat history?
