My contract ends in September so I ordered the BT Essentials before realising there was a better deal with faster speeds. I rang up BT to cancel the original package, but it's not dropped off my account so I can't order a new one?
How long does it take until I can order the new package?

My contract runs out in September. I ordered a new package before seeing a better one with faster speeds. I rang up BT last night to cancel it and and as of yet, am unable to buy the new one.
How long does it take to cancel?
