Hopefully this is in the right forum. My son landed in Denmark yesterday and couldn't get the data services on his BT mobile to work under the "roam like home" service.
A bit of digging appears to show that you can now only enable phones to work overseas if you have a spend cap set that's greater than zero.
I'm sure this didn't used to be the way it worked. By setting the cap to the minimum £2.50, the toggle to enable mobile use overseas became active and now the data service works.
Can anyone advise if this policy has indeed changed recently?
Thanks

I can't put a date on it but that's how it's been for a long time, years rather than months. It's advice that's given regularly on this forum.
