Changed to another provider

So we moved from BT a month before our contract was up by signing up with another provider which we were told by this provider they will do switch over from BT themselves. So why I am still getting emails from bt telling me my contract is nearly up and to choose a better package. I've just logged into my BT and I can see the prediction for next months bill. We sent all the BT equipment back to them as well as BT sent us a package to send it back. We paid this months bill which was supposed to be last. I  am confused! Do I need to do anything else to stop them sending me emails or bills

try contacting billing by using message now and they should be able to help you

It will be automated emails that will have been in the system prior to you actually leaving.
