Hi ,
I was on BT Halo 2 @ £43 and upgraded to BT Halo 900 as it was only £3 extra a month with digital voice thrown in I thought @ £46.38 ( Wrong) .
I was really pleased with the broadband speed but on my fist bill after upgrading there was a charge of 49p + £3.98 for digital voice.
I rang customer services a queried this and explained that i thought that digital voice was included in the Halo 900.
They explained that this wasn't so ,so I asked if I could cancel this as we don't use it anyway and was told yes.
I also queried the 49p for a 100th of a second phone call? which was refunded as I argued that it wasn't a phone call, how could it be.
So all is good until I get a bill for £73 with digital call still included ..
I called the billing team who told me I had changed my package and will be charged £58 from now on....I never changed my broadband ,only asked to cancel the digital voice.
She then went onto tell me that I had an email on the 9/1/23 to tell me of the new changes , Checked and no email.
She also told me that she would listen to my last call with me cancelling digital voice and not my broadband and get back to me.
What can I do ?

you original package was for broadband and phone so if you decide at a later stage to cancel the phone part, you still pay line rental which is included in broadband cost, then you start a new contract for broadband only without ability to make or receive landline calls
