Really, I have no other way to pose this question, but first time every in my entire life, I've come across a business that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to contact when you're actually looking to buy from BT.
I want to place an order for broadband at my home, I ring the 03301234150, 0800800152 and I get some weird option to choose visual service and I get a text. I open the text, choose what I want and when I call I get "this service is temporarily unavailable" and it hangs up.
I tried to chat via live chat which intermittently appears when it feels like it but that has decided to close on me.
Is BT going into liquidation? Are they no longer taking on new customers??
Bizarre...if someone from sales in BT is looking at this, then please check your phone lines, nothing works, id expect this from support after you're a client but to be completely blocked from trying to contact them (i tried multiple different numbers to call from as well) 😄
If you are having any issue with the digital IVR option which is a whole other thing - I would select the other option and you will get through to someone.
This is a community forum but I was on the phone to BT this morning to make a change to my digital voice service and I got through just fine.
Just did,
150 number, option 2, then 1, then 3 for orders or upgrades.
’we regret to inform you this service is currently unavailable’ 🙈
You can order online if you are happy to do that.
0800 800 152 is a BT Business support number. This is a customer to customer BT Residential community. Are you a potential BT Residential or BT Business Customer?
