Hi. It seems like a common issue. I hoping to access an Xbox Game Pass offer after renewing my BT contract, but the Content Provider section is missing. I have an old account and noticed from the forum that that appears to cause an issue. Could someone help me out please?

try CS 03301234150 or billing team https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband they should be able to help with old account

I'm glad I was able to sort this for you. For the benefit of the community I deleted the existing BTID which removed the old account. Once the new BTID was set up everything was sorted.
